SCCA \u2013 Ljubljana hosted six curators and artists <strong>Antares Gomez<\/strong>, <strong>Kenneth Paranada<\/strong>, <strong>Siddharta Perez<\/strong> and <strong>\u00a0Shireen Seno<\/strong> from the Philippines, <strong>Isabel Ching<\/strong> from Singapore and <strong>Moe Satt<\/strong> from Myanmar, <strong>Antonija Letini\u0107<\/strong>, the representative of the organisation Kurziv from Zagreb, <strong>Anupama Sekhar<\/strong>, the Director of the Culture Department of ASEF and Turkish artist <strong>Borga Kant\u00fcrk<\/strong>. The programme aimed at international guests and participants of <em>the World of Art<\/em>, School for Curators and Critics of Contemporary Art was held in the Project Room SCCA and other art venues in Ljubljana and Zagreb. Participants from Slovenia,<strong> Barbara Bor\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Du\u0161an Dov\u010d<\/strong>, <strong>Miha Kelemina<\/strong> and <strong>Simona \u017dvanut<\/strong>, the representative of the organisation Kurziv from Croatia, <strong>Antonija Letini\u0107<\/strong>, and participants from Southeast Asia, <strong>Lian Ladia<\/strong>, <strong>Renan Laru-An<\/strong>, <strong>Ricky Orellana<\/strong>, <strong>Siddharta Perez<\/strong>, <strong>Simon Soon<\/strong>, <strong>Angel Velasco Shaw<\/strong> and <strong>Jenifer Wofford<\/strong> (USA), came together to discuss and present artistic and curatorial practices that contests the contemporary in critical non-linear art histories, alternative organizational infrastructures through a series of events, discussions and a three-day symposium. The toolkit is designed as a collective diary of impressions, insights, opinions and memories of our experiences. It is published on the websites of all partner organizations, where you can find, download and print your own copy.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldofart.org\/arhiv.worldofart.org\/aktualno\/wp-content\/2015\/Curating-In-Depth-toolkit.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" title=\"CID Toolkit\" src=\"https:\/\/www.worldofart.org\/arhiv.worldofart.org\/aktualno\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/cid-toolkit.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"749\" height=\"321\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldofart.org\/arhiv.worldofart.org\/current\/15th-season-2014-2016\/curating-in-depth\"><em><strong>Curating\u2013In\u2013Depth<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, prepared by two main partners <strong>SCCA, Center for Contemporary Arts \u2013 Ljubljana<\/strong> (Slovenia) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plantingrice.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Planting Rice<\/strong><\/a> (the Philippines) and associated organisation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kulturpunkt.hr\/node\/29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kurziv<\/strong><\/a> (Croatia), is an incubation project between non-governmental institutions from Europe and Asia, whose goal is the development of curatorial education. It connects initiatives in the field of curatorial practices and the production of visual arts exhibitions, which share the same approach (we call it the curating-in-depth), but are rooted in different cultural environments and artistic milieus.<\/p>\n<p>Project <em><strong>Curating\u2013In\u2013Depth<\/strong><\/em> is one of the three projects that have been selected for the support in 2015 through the fourth edition of <em>Creative Encounters: Cultural Partnerships between Asia and Europe<\/em>, launched by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asef.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Asia-Europe Foundation<\/strong><\/a> (ASEF), and its partners the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsnetworkasia.org\/main.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Arts Network Asia<\/strong><\/a> (ANA) and the <strong>European network <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teh.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Trans Europe Halles<\/strong><\/a> (TEH). Through <strong>Creative Encounters<\/strong>, <strong>ASEF<\/strong>, <strong>ANA<\/strong> and <strong>TEH<\/strong> actively foster connections across cultures by supporting artistic collaborations, exchanges and dialogues.
