\nGroup exhibition<\/p>\n
2 March \u2013 2 April 2017<\/strong> The group exhibition Somethin\u2019s Written<\/em><\/strong> which explored the merging of the written word and image in contemporary art production was accompanied by a published exhibition catalogue in Slovene, which is now also available online. The publication was designed by Nevena Aleksovski<\/strong><\/a>, who also participated as one of the exhibiting artists. In the catalogue you can find texts about the exhibition, descriptions of artworks, photographs of the exhibition, short biographies of artists and artists’ answers to the questions we asked them about their own art practice of combining image and text.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Descriptions of artworks at the exhibition were prepared by the participants of World of Art<\/strong><\/a> school Ur\u0161ka Aplinc, Maja Burja, Anabel \u010cernohorski, Nika Ham, Ajda Ana Kocutar <\/strong>and Iza Pevec<\/strong>. Questions for the artists about their art practice were prepared and coordinated by Ajda Ana Kocutar<\/strong>.\u00a0The publication was edited by Lara Plav\u010dak<\/strong> and Miha Kelemina<\/strong>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n As one of the ways of their expression, participating artists Bojan Mijatovi\u0107, Horrid Habits, Leon Zuodar, Maks Bricelj,<\/strong> Mina Fina<\/strong> and Nevena Aleksovski<\/strong> are exploring various approaches in combining text and images. They are active in drawing, graphics, painting, photography, assemblages, some are intervening a space with installations and other interventions or are creating artists\u2019 books, (fan)zines and similar art publications.<\/p>\n
