At the writing workshop for artists, we\u2019ll take a closer look at the various texts that artists have to prepare themselves during their career, such as a CV, project\/work description or artist statement. We\u2019ll talk about how to adapt these texts to various contexts, for example, for one\u2019s portfolio, tender application or exhibition.<\/p>\n

The workshop is organized by DobraVaga Gallery in cooperation with SCCA-Ljubljana, whose World of Art School for Curators and Critics of Contemporary Art has been running for 25 years. The workshop will be led by the school\u2019s associates Lara Plav\u010dak<\/strong> and Miha Kelemina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be held online. Based on the submitted texts, we will present guidelines for writing, touch on some common dilemmas, and help participants improve their texts.<\/p>\n

The number of places is limited. The workshop is primarily aimed at young artists, but other professions in contemporary art that encounter writing are also welcome.<\/p>\n
